Lisa James, the Founder and Chair of ZigZag Leeds Autism Support, has been recognised for her tireless work and contribution to Leeds by winning the Volunteer Category at the BBC Radio Leeds Make a Difference awards 2023! 

The award highlights Lisa's commitment of nearly 20 years to ZigZag, where she has been dedicated to supporting autistic children, young people, and their families.

The ceremony on September 30th was held at The Royal Armouries. It was a special occasion and featured special guests, celebrities, and a sophisticated afternoon tea with prosecco. Lisa and the ZigZag team considered it a privilege to learn about the achievements of all the nominees and an honour to be in the company of many truly selfless individuals who have devoted their time to helping their communities.
